Water Sinking Agarwood 2

Sinking Agarwood also differentiated.

Instant Sinking: Instant sinking is a top-grade quality, where when it is submerged in water, it immediately sinks to the bottom like a stone in terms of speed.

On the other hand, the originally water-sinking raw materials will no longer sink after several months, indicating that the moisture inside has dried out. We further differentiate them into 90% sinking, 80% sinking, 70% sinking, and 50% sinking.

Some of our agarwood bracelets or 108 agarwood beads are not water-sinking, but they are classified as 90% sinking, 80% sinking, 70% sinking, or 50% sinking in terms of quality. The fragrance is not inferior to water-sinking agarwood, and the price is much more affordable than water-sinking agarwood.

To be honest, water-sinking agarwood is really scarce, but there are many fake water-sinking agarwood in the market.

Some fake water-sinking agarwood is made by compressing genuine agarwood into heavy and compressed water-sinking agarwood.

Others are made using other types of wood mixed with essential oils, such as bamboo and crocodile wood, which are commonly seen.

If you want to determine whether the agarwood you have is genuine or not, one of the most direct methods is to use a lighter to burn it and smell the fragrance to discern if it is the scent of agarwood.
