沉香的油脂从何而来?What is the oil residue when burning agarwood?

Today, a customer asked:“ if there is any agarwood that does not produce oil residue in the incense burner after burning?”

Answer: Agarwood made from natural agarwood will definitely leave oil residue on the utensils, unless it is made into incense using synthesized fragrance, which will not produce greasy oil residue. Oil residue and agarwood aroma are closely related.

Oil residue is the source of aroma, and the process of oil evaporation is the process of aroma diffusion. Without oil residue, there will be no agarwood aroma. In fact, agarwood without oil residue does not belong to the category of agarwood.

Oil residue is the foundation of agarwood, and agarwood must contain oil residue. The amount of oil residue is part of determining the quality of agarwood. Under the same conditions, the higher the oil residue content, the better the quality of agarwood.
